Austin Takvor is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Roslyn, NY who attends St. Mary's High School. Has a young player with developing frame. During the infield workout, he showed solid actions staying online with a quick transfer and release. At the plate, he displayed a pull approach with good balance, a short compact stroke and has some gap power. On the mound, he competes and pounds the zone. He has a compact delivery and rotates at the top. Austin stays online well with a tight high 3/4 release with a short arm action. He is also a good student.
