Cameron Fontenot is a 2013 C/3B with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Berwick, LA who attends Patterson HS. Strong thick build. Right handed hitter, open to closed approach, strides in, gets hands loaded in back, aggressive swing, attacks the ball, long loose swing, some bat speed and ball jumps well when squared, can improve balance at contact. Good footwork behind the plate, receives the ball well and confidently, compact arm action, arm strength short at present but compensates with quick release, willing blocker.
