Pisula is a 6-1, 185 lb senior outfielder from Virginia with plus athleticism and very good present strength. He ran the 60 in 6.92 and threw an outstanding 90 mph from the outfield. Pisula ran in the 6.7's at a Perfect Game showcase earlier in the summer and you could tell he was a bit disappointed in his time at North Carolina. He also played some third base at the showcase although he had very limited experience at that position and looked pretty good. He might want to keep developing that skill. After seeing Pisula's arm strength from the outfield, he also agreed to take a turn on the mound and threw 84 mph. At the plate, Pisula generates very good raw bat speed and the ball jumps off his bat hard on contact. He has a big hand hitch that he doesn't work through and this inhibits his timing consistency and his ability to use his natural bat speed against better pitchers. A good hitting coach should be able to help him make the necessary adjustments. Pisula is a good student.

Nicholas Pisula is a 2006 outfielder from Virginia Beach, VA with a good body that shows strength at 6-1, 185 lbs. Defensively, he shows very good arm strength at 89 mph from the outfield with on-line carry. He get his feet in a good position to make plays and he is a solid center fielder. He is very athletic with good range in all directions and he ran a 6.74 in the 60 on a slow track. He hits from balanced stance a high hand set and he has a good downward swing plane. He has quick hands and he generates good bat speed. His a very high level prospect with big time power potential at the next level. Nicholas is a good student.
