Chris Sadler is a 2008 3B/P/OF from Kennedy HS, residing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with a 6'3"/180 pound frame. Chris has a tall and lean frame. He hits from a slightly open stance and closes well. Sadler has a top hand release and a line drive approach at the plate. He has solid hands and gap power, but his bat gets flat and long at times. Chris has short arm action across the infield with a solid glove. He has an accurate arm at 77 mph with a solid release. He needs to be more aggressive defensively. Chris pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action and an online delivery. He doesn't get over his front side as he lands with a stiff front leg. Sadler has late life on his fastball at 80 mph. Chris Sadler is a 2008 OF/P/SS with a 6'3'', 180 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who attends Kennedy High School. Sadler has a tall and lean frame that is very projectable. He shows solid speed in the sixty (7.03) and moves well on the bases and in the field. Defensively he moves well in the outfield showing solid actions and reactions. He throws from a lower arm slot from the outfield with a slinging arm action, but his arm is loose with projectable velocity. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away to slightly open stance. Sadler crouches on his back leg and has a low had set. He shows bat speed through the hitting zone that should allow him to hit higher velocity pitchers. He has a tendency to pull the ball showing projectable pop in his bat. Sadler also does a good job of tracking pitches and recognizing the off-speed pitch. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, much different than from the outfield. He has a rotational delivery and throws across his body. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with little life. Sadler is also a good student.

Chris Sadler is a 2008 OF/RHP/SS that attends Kennedy HS and resides in Cedar Rapids, IA with a 6'3", 175 lb. frame. Chris a tall lean athletic build that profiles well at many different positions. At the plate Chris has some strength in his swing with a level swing plane. He has good balance and leverage in his swing and shows good gap to gap potential. He injured his shoulder during the session so there might be more left in him that we didn't see. In the outfield Chris has good range but will need to work on his footwork. He tends to play on his heels a little too much. Chris has an athletic delivery on the mound with a loose arm that produces nice sink on the ball. Chris gets good extension on all of his pitches and stays around the plate. He has a good feel for his change-up and also shows a curveball and a slider. Chris has nice upside on the mound and could attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.

Chris Sadler is a 2008 OF/IF RHP with a 6'2'', 165 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA, who attends Kennedy HS. Tall, long torso with tapering legs and has room to fill out and get stronger. Very projectable body. Defensively he moves to the ball well in the outfield and gets good jumps. He has a long arm action on his throws with proper throwing mechanics. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a crouched and slightly open stance. Sadler takes a short stride and shows solid bat speed. At times he stands up from his crouched stance and ends upright at contact, changing his eye level. Sadler makes solid contact and puts the ball in play, and shows some pop in his bat when he centers the ball. On the mound he has a loose arm from a 3/4 arm slot with slinging arm action. Sadler gets cutting action on his fastball that topped out at 71 mph. He also mixes in a 12/6 curveball with depth. He works fast, throws strikes, and gets outs. Young player with two-way potential, and he is a good student as well.

His curveball was his best pitch with good depth and he threw it for strikes at 74 mph. Sadler has good arm strength and the actions to be a solid prospect.
