Satchel McElroy is a 2015 OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Creek HS. Smallish build, but an excellent athlete with some room to grow and get stronger. Also ran a 6.56 60 yard. Shows decent actions in the outfield, flashed some arm strength, should improve with maturity, good footwork. Hits from a spread stance, low hand set, swing looks short and simple, barrels the ball up consistently, hits to the middle of the field, good extension in his swing, knows what he's doing at the plate, shows some good pop for his size. Nice feel for hitting and a very good athlete, close follow. Very good student.
