Griffin Kern is a 2015 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Chattahoochee HS. Medium frame with room to fill. Line drive swing plane, flat barrel, short to the ball, quick hands, gap to gap approach, solid contact ability. Solid extension, patient hitter, narrow upright setup with a slightly open stance, gets barrel on plane with the pitch well. Short arm action, accurate throws, works through the baseball defensively. Very good student.
