Weston Talley is a 2013 OF/3B/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends College Park HS. Slender young build but has some hidden strength. Right handed hitter, low handed start, uppercut plane, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, has some swing/miss in his approach but ball jumped when squared. 7.09 runner, showed solid outfield tools, quick release, strong on line throws, moves to the ball well. Also plays the infield, shows range and a good release, accurate arm with some carry. Has the defensive tools to play all over the field. Also pitched, balanced high leg lift delivery, gets closed at balance point, long arm action, 3/4's release, solid mechanics. Fastball to 81 mph, good running action at times, curveball gets downer action, showed some feel for his change up. Has caught at PG showcases in the past, so has literally played and can play every position on the field with some skill/tools. Good student.
