Thayer Seely is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Dickerson, MD who attends Poolesville. Lean athlete with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Good mechanics on mound. Medium, balanced kick, repeats delivery well. Arm works with more velocity to come. Tough to hit when out front with extension. Good control, showed ability to throw to spots.Short arm action in back. Good feel for breaking ball with 1/7 break, also threw changeup. Showed well at plate, balanced left handed swing with very good contract to left-center field. Aggressive swing with easy contact skills. Very good student.
