Jonathan Pendergast is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Pendergast has a large frame with a strong projectable build. He showed good arm strength from the outfield with some carry. He has developing outfield actions with solid footwork to the ball. At the plate, Pendergast starts with an upright stance and stays on top of balls well. He has some bat speed and swings with a rotational approach. Solid young hitting tools. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He uses an online balanced delivery and repeats well. He throws an 11/5 curveball with good depth to it. He has command of his curveball and spots it well. Pendergast gets arm side run on his fastball when down and showed feel for his change up at 70 MPH. Excellent student.
