Zach Larison is a 2008 IF/P/OF with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Robins, IA who attends Linn Mar HS. Larison has a lean athletic look. His body has good life. Defensively he has quick actions, and usable speed that gives him good range at second base. He has a short arm stroke, and good body control. He has a simple no stide hitting approach, and creates solid line drive contact. He oocasionally leaks out on front side early, but he keeps swing short. On the mound he has a cross body delivery, with a FB up to 76. Larison is also a good student.
