Daniel Buratto is a 2014 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Goleta, CA who attends Dos Pueblos HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Slow paced delivery, gets turned at the top, tends to lean upper body coming through and fall off, extended 3/4's arm slot with long arm circle, arm is loose and low effort. Consistent mid 70's fastball, mostly straight. Curveball best pitch, good 2-plane shape with spin and some bite, developing change up. Strike thrower who is confident in his curveball and works ahead. Right handed hitter, long uppercut swing, looking to pull and lift, flashes some bat speed and strength. Good student.

Daniel Buratto is a 2014 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Goleta, CA who attends Dos Pueblos. Buratto has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He has a full back turn and pause at balance point and flies open to delivery the ball. He has some deception to his delivery and some arm speed. Buratto threw much better from the stretch as there was much less back turn to the plate. He throws a big breaking 1/7 curveball that he has feel for. Buratto also throws a change up with sink on it. He has developing actions in the outfield with developing arm strength. At the plate, Buratto uses a square upright stance with a sweeping swing. He has developing hitting tools.
