Kyle Ondar is a 2015 C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Marlboro, NJ who attends Marlboro. Large, athletic frame with a strong build. Solid runner, posted a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, throws from a short arm action tight near ear, receives out front, accurate to the bag, needs to incorporate lower half into throws, stays tall at release. Longer arm action from the outfield, gets body in good position to make the throw and works through it, shows some strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts from an upright stance with hands in a sound hitting position. Quick hands down to the ball, good balance through swing, line drive swing plane, keeps hands in, shifts weight through lower half, gets the barrel to the ball well, shows nice bat speed. Very good student.
