Davis Fouts is a 2015 1B/LHP with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Springs Christian Academy. Small younger build, minimal present strength. Right handed hitter, open stance, gets square, limited lower half shift, short compact swing, upper half swing, stays balanced and gets the barrel out to contact, line drive contact, finds the barrel consistently, will improve with additional strength. Good footwork around the first base back, will need to improve lower half quickness. Also pitched, sound pitching mechanics, short compact arm action, fastball in the upper 60's, soft curveball with some downer shape, threw strikes with both pitches.
