Will Casey is a 2007 LHP with a 6'2'', 165 lb. frame from Kennesaw GA, who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. He has a lanky, long limbed body with some present strength. He looks like he weighs about 180 now. Casey throws from a very balanced delivery with a long arm action and an extended mid 3/4's release point. He gets plus running life away from right handed hitters on a 83-85mph fastball. His breaking ball is a big, sweeping 71 mph fresbee type slider. When Casey is spotting his fastballa nd breaking ball, which is most of the time, he can really pitch and get hitters off balance. He's shown a nice mid-70s change up at past events but didn't throw one this outing. Casey is a polished left hander who can throw strikes and get ground ball outs. He has committed to South Carolina.

Will Casey is a 2007 left handed pitcher from Kennesaw Mountain HS in Kennesaw, GA, with a 6'2'', 165 lb. frame. Casey is a long and lanky pitcher with a nice and loose arm. He has smooth mechanics and a balanced and online delivery. He gets good run on his fastball at 81 mph and he projects to throw harder in the future. He also mixes in a 72 mph curveball with good depth and bite, and throws a 73 mph changeup with sink. Casey throws all his pitches for strikes and goes right after hitters. He is a ground ball pitcher that keeps hitters off-balance and will keep an infield busy. Casey has a very high ceiling with a projectable body and velocity. A must follow.
