Orland Orta is a 2012 C/1B with a 5-10 205 lb. frame from Toa Baja, PR who attends Deer Park HS. Strong physical build, broad shoulders. Keeps catching actions short and simple, good exchange, some arm strength, accurate throws, 1.95 best pop time, will have to work on softening hands and lateral quickness. Right handed hitter, open stance, loose extended swing, looks to get the ball in the air, aggressive strong swing, will improve with better balance. High energy player with some leadership qualities.
