Blake Bradbury is a 2007 RHP/MIF from Elkins in Missouri City, TX, with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame. Blake has a strong athletic body with good lower body strength. He pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot which gives him hard armside run and sink on his fastball. Blake uses a slinging arm action off the mound. He throws a 10/4 breaking ball for strikes consistently with good movement and deception. Blake is an aggressive pitcher who doesn't waste many pitches and is aggressive in the strike zone. Blake has good defensive actions and looked very smooth in the Showcase games. Blake has good body control and flashed some good glove work. Blake starts with an open stance at the plate and uses a rock back load to start his swing. He has good balance in his swing with bat speed. Blake has a rotational swing and has gap to gap power presently. Blake is a very good student.
