Kokinis is a 6'1" 165 pound 2006 infielder from LaVerne, California who attends Damien High School. He has an athletic frame and build with still some room to fill out. He has some average power and uses his hands well keeping them very quiet. He is a spray hitter with good balance in his swing and a wide base with most of his weight on his back leg. During the workout, Troy threw 76 mph from the infield with a quick release and good carry on his ball. He also has some soft hands which are very quick when turning the double play. He demonstrated average speed running a 7.41 60 and a 5.45 to first base in the game. Kokinis is a very good student in school with a 3.9 grade point average and scoring a 1710 on his SAT.
