Blake Barber is a 2005, 5'8" middle infielder from Key West, FL, with a solid body and some strength to his hips. Barber takes an aggressive swing at the ball with a good knee lift trigger and a line drive swing plane. Defensively, Barber has some arm strength, but will need to work on speeding up his release a bit and maybe sacrificing some velocity for quickness. He seems to have a very good feel for the game. Blake is a good student.
