Tom Savino is a 2006 catcher from Valrico, FL with a big strong athletic build at 6-2, 205 lbs. Defensively, he has a strong accurate arm from behind the plate. He hits from a wide stance with a slight knee lift trigger. He has very strong hand and arms and generates good bat speed. He has a pull style approach and likes the ball middle to inside. He has quick hands and he shows big time power to the pull side. He has a huge frame and his bat projects well with home run power at the next level. Tom is an outstanding student.
