2004 Western Underclass Showcase
T.J is a 2006 grad from Erda, Utah with a small compact frame and good present strength. At the plate he shows some bat speed thru the zone and the ability to use all fields well. T.J. hit the ball right on the screws all showcase, showing consistency in his swing and even the ability to hit with some gap power. We'd guess that T.J. is a very successful, high average hitter at school now and we predict he's going to continue to put up nice offensive numbers at the next level. Defensively, T.J. has good quick feet and turns the double play very well. He showed the athleticism to make the difficult play as well as the routine. His arm strength will limit him to second base but he will be an asset at that position. By the end of the showcase T.J. had us sold, he'd a very nice young player. He's also an excellent student whose grades and test scores will get him into just about any school in the country.
