T.J. is a lean, lanky "05" outfielder / infielder with light feet and a lot of athleticism. In the outfield he tracks balls very well with nice smooth actions. He shows good overall mechanics and knowledge of the game. His arm is very strong at 83-84mph from the ourfield with good carry. He is an above average Big League runner already. At the plate he has a short, compact stroke that is quick through the zone. He hits with gap power to all fields and the balls jump off his bat in a big hurry. He shows excellent ability to center the ball. Definitely one to keep a very close eye on. TJ is a good student with a big upside. At 6'2/165 he's still a baby compared to what he will end up being.
