Timothy Smith is a 6'3" right handed pitcher from Vero Beach, Florida, with a big 240 lb. body. He has a very slow and deliberate delivery with an extended balance point at the top above the rubber. Smith’s arm stroke was correspondingly long in back. His fastball was in the 80-82 mph range for the most part. Smith also threw a 71 mph slider and a 72 mph change up that had nice fading action at times. He can control all his pitches. Offensively, he showed good hands and serious bat speed, with some excellent power potential. Timothy is a very good student and projects nicely. His best years are yet to come.

Timothy Smith is a 2005 RHP/1B from Vero Beach, FL, with a well conditioned 6'3", 230 lb. body. He shows good defensive actions that are fluid with good footwork around the bag. He has a long swing that generates line drives at this point. On the mound Timothy throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a slightly rigid arm and short arm action. He uses a tall-and-fall pitching style into a rotational finish and occasionally throws across his body. He is a location type pitcher who works his fastball at 78 mph with solid control. His curveball is likely his best pitch at 67 mph with 11-5 tilt and tight spin. His changeup is 75 mph and currently lacks the velocity differential between his fastball to be as effective as it could be. We see his best chance at the next level on the mound
