Tim Patzman is a 2005 outfielder from Waukesha, Wisconsin, with a strong, 6'1", 190 lb. frame. Patzman has pretty good speed from the outfield with a very accurate arm, and shows the actions to handle the corner outfield spots. Patzman's biggest strength is his LH bat. The ball jumps off his bat and he shows present raw power. He didn't take a great batting practice, but we have seen him crush balls during other events. Patzman has great wrists and is a plus hitter when he stays back on pitches. He also runs well and shows good instincts on the bases. Patzman's bat will be there and will get him to a high level of college baseball. Tim is an outstanding student..

Tim Patzman -- Patzman is a left handed hitting junior outfielder from Wisconsin with a good balance of physical tools. He has a nice athletic frame and could get very strong as he matures. Patzman has good raw bat speed at the plate and showed some loft power in batting practice. His approach at the plate does him no favors, as he hits from a tall no load, no stride stance that takes away his extension and makes him late to the ball against live pitching. When he finds a trigger and gets his lower half involved, Patzman has the tools to be a solid high level college hitter. Patzman is a good athlete who runs close to average (4.31 and 4.33 down to first base) and throws well from the outfield, too. He’s a top student as well. Very interesting prospect from Wisconsin.
