Jesus Garcia is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from San Jacinto, CA who attends Tahquitz HS. Long and lean build, minimal present strength, projects well physically. Very busy multi-part delivery from the wind up, needs to simplify, shows better stuff and command from the stretch, loose whippy arm action, extended 3/4's slot, some effort on release.. Fastball to 84 mph, occasional run and sink, cuts fastball frequently with good depth and some bite, cutter best and most effective pitch. Some feel for change up, soft curveball tends to roll, may be better off in future with slider based on quality of cutter. Competes hard.
