Israel Fuentes is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Chino Hills HS. Nice athletic build, has some present strength with more to come, good body life. Athletic middle infield actions, quick arm with quick release, tends to throw cross body at times, good range, can improve footwork, good arm strength. Right handed hitter, keeps swing short and direct, good hand strength, front side hitter, tends to dive in at times, aggressive game swings, has bat speed, hits the ball to all fields, hard line drive contact. Also pitched, compact quick arm, hides ball well, fastball to 84 mph, hard curveball spin with downer depth. Nice all around athlete. Good student.
