Kristain James is a 2014 C with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Salem, MO who attends Salem HS. Compact frame, thick mature build with some present strength. Accurate throws behind the plate, deliberate catch and throw motion, short arm action, needs to be more urgent with release time. Shifts weight in swing, aggressive, can get overaggressive at times, keeps hands inside the ball, narrow/upright setup in the batter's box, solid balance, needs to learn to incorporate lower half into swing better to be able to develop pop. Good student.
