Jacob Englehart is a 2014 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Evergreen, CO who attends Evergreen. Long frame, lean athletic build with wiry strength. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a medium arm action. Online delivery, deep take back to initiate arm circle, accelerates tempo later in delivery. 11-5 shape to curveball with tight spin, flashes depth at times and is a pitch that shows good potential. Athletic delivery, threw strikes, also runs well, posted a 7.04 60 yard dash time. Line drive swing plane, rotational swing, short to the ball, long stride. Excellent student.

Jacob Englehart is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Evergreen, CO who attends Evergreen HS. Nice athletic build, very strong for age. Slow deliberated delivery, doesn't accelerate to the plate, limited lower 1/2 use, over the top release point, arm works well, easy release out front. Fastball to 81 mph, mostly straight, maintains his velocity well, downer curveball, flashes tight spin and depth at times, developing change up. Around the strike zone with all pitches, plenty more velocity there with mechanical adjustments, physical maturity. Good athlete, 7.05 runner, similar swing to pitching mechanics, upper half rotational swing, short swing with tight hands, has some strength at contact, hitting potential with more lower half use. Excellent student.
