Thomas Parker is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-1 167 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Manzano HS. Tall lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Low set up catching, low release point, young footwork, beginnings of some arm strength with better throwing mechanics, also plays first base. Switch-hitter, similar approach both sides, spread no stride stance, limited load/trigger, upper half rotational swing, no flow/movement through contact. Projects some strength to hit but must develop hitting mechanics. Very good student.
