Thomas Puza is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Point Pleasant, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic. Medium athletic frame, well proportioned with present strength. High 3/4 slot, long arm action, effort in delivery, gets extension and throws on downhill plane. Sound mechanics does a good job repeating. Fastball shows sink. Did not throw off speed pitch. Right handed hitter, no load with hands, line drive pull approach with lots of hand movement in swing. Gets hands into hitting zone and thru ball well. Power potential down the road. Good student.
