Drew Ponce is a 2013 MIF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Redding, CA who attends Foothill . Ponce has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Has has good defensive actions with a quick release. He has some arm strength with some carry on his throws. He has quick transfers and moves well to the baseball. Ponce is a switch hitter who presently swings it better from the right side. From the right side he uses a toe tap trigger and a pull side approach. He has better bat speed from the right side and makes better contact. From the left side, Ponce glides to contact and uses a toe tap trigger. Good student.
