Quinn Brodey is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Loyola. Strong lean athletic angular build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, good downhill plane, hides the ball well. Pitches to both sides well, mixes well, pitches inside effectively, imparts sink on fastball, occasional cut action to the glove side. Maintains arm speed well on changeup, good spin rate on 1-7 curveball, break is slurvy at present but shows the ability to impart necessary spin to develop it into a quality pitch. Online delivery, sound mechanics when he repeats, can improve repeatability but very good for age. Also impressed with the bat, legitimate 2-way prospect at the Division-I level. Hit a pair of home runs in BP, low effort swing, good bat speed, smooth stroke, good use of lower half, consistent hard contact.

Quinn Brodey is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Glendale, CA who attends Loyola HS. Very strong athletic build, broad shoulders. Slow paced eg raise delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, bit cross body on release, tends to pick up the plate late. Quick arm, fastball to 88 mph, mostly straight, curveball flashes good spin and depth, not consistent with release point. Some feel for change up with cutting action, could throw more often. Arm strength and body stand out. Very good student.
