Roberto Lopez is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Summit Christian HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Calm turn and throw delivery, simple repeatable delivery mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight, throws strikes aggressively with his fastball, maintained velocity well. Some feel for a change up with proper arm speed, breaking ball is a short slider with some two-plane break, could mix his pitches more frequently. Pounded the strike zone and pitched effectively. 7.27 runner, showed big arm strength in infield drills and from third base in games, shows good quick feet to the ball. Right handed hitter, short line drive swing, has some hand strength, hits to all fields. Good student.

Late sink on fastball, high three quarter slot, up to 84, athletic delivery, throws strikes in spite of minor mechanical flaws. Low 70s curveball with 11-5 break, quality changeup at 74 with deceptive arm action. Also hit well, good barrel control, solid bat speed. Good student.
