Gavin Robinson is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 6-0 162 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends J. P. Taravella. Medium, highly athletic, wiry build with room to fill out. Ran a 6.83 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, flashes easy power and finishes high with his hands. Gets long at times, but ball jumps off his bat and he squares line drives consistently. Generates good backspin and has an idea at the plate. Shows above average bat speed. Flashes above average outfield arm strength and above average range. Has athletic defensive actions. Also took the mound, throws left-handed. Works at a rapid pace and dominates from an over the top arm slot. Goes right at hitters with an 81-84 mph fastball with good late life. Flashes good curveball with 11-5 action at 73 mph. Swing and miss stuff is there. Projects to add velocity. Intriguing two-way upside. Named to Top Prospect list.
