Joe Hogg is a 2012 OF/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends St Joseph's SS. Medium build with strength in his lower half. Good approach to the ball with quick feet and loose arm action. Throws were online with average arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a wide base at the plate. Rotational swing with solid bat speed. Good contact skills, has the ability to go to the opposite fields. High 3/4 slot on the mound with a very aggressive delivery. Fastball sat mid 70s up to 76 with arm side run. Curveball at 69 had 11/5 spinner break and changeup is developing third pitch.
