Robert Strader is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Eastern. Very tall and lanky, room to fill. Loose easy arm action, very quick arm. Slow delivery, slight downhill plane, could be sharper with better use of lower half. Consistent mid-upper 80s velocity, hit 88 repeatedly, has more velocity in there with tweaks and physical maturity. Very high celing pitcher, 12-6 curveball has big downer break with some bite to it, potential plus pitch. Low effort delivery, short stride, over the top arm slot, will need to work hard to improve delivery to reach his lofty potential but has a lot of talent to work with. Good student.
