Gregory Rengel is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Milton, FL who attends Pace HS. Big strong athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, square stance, long swing with some lift and extension, finds the barrel well, can drive and lift the ball on his pitch, needs to be more aggressive attacking ball and using his strength. 8.07 runner, big target at first, soft hands. Also pitched, full arm circle, high 3/4's arm slot, throws downhill, could use lower body more effectively. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, soft curveball. Good student.
