Riley Pollard is a 2013 RHP/SS with a 6-0 158 lb. frame from Brampton, ON who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Lean, slender build with projection. Throws from high 3/4 slot with long, loose arm action. Projects to gain more velocity. Balanced, online delivery with good extension on front. Long on the backside with minimal deception. Fastball sat 78-80, up to 81 and curveball with 11/5 break is solid #2 pitch. Feet move well on the infield, showed very good actions turning double play. Left-handed bat with good contact skills. Long swing with extension. Will benefit from better use of lower half.
