Doug Milne is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Nesconset, NY who attends Smithtown East. Rangy, long athlete with lots of room to fill. Solid actions and athleticism at SS. Good tools that project to improve as he gains strength. Long arm action but release is quick and arm is playable at SS and 3B. Left-handed bat with a line drive stroke. Stays inside the ball well and has a very good idea the the plate. Loose swing actions, goes to the opposite field very well. Outstanding in games with smooth easy actions and good at-bats and base hit vs. LHP with velocity. Long arm circle on the mound, loose arm with projectable velocity. Loves to throw 11/5 curveball. Break is solid, has feel. Interesting prospect to watch. Very good student.
