Luke Farley is a 2015 OF/1B/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Denver, IA who attends Columbus HS. Strong athletic build, mature physically for age. Right handed hitter, straight stance, busy hand hitch load, quick hands and generates bat speed, short swing, ball jumps hard on contact, squared up everything game and batting practice, hits the ball hard to right centerfield, showed power, impressive overall hitting performance. 7.02 runner, moves well in the outfield, some arm strength and carry on throws. Also pitched, multi-part back turn delivery, hides ball and has deception, over the top release with good downhill angle. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with some glove side cutting action, downer curveball flashed good when thrown hardest, threw strikes and was effective. Hitting tool really stood out. Good student.
