Michael Colantonio is a 2012 MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Wallingford, CT who attends Mark T Sheehan. Medium build athlete with lots of room to fill. Developing actions at middle infield positions. Tools would play at 2B. Feet get to the ball and hands field well. Projects to gain more arm strength as body gains strength. Left handed hitter at the plate with a narrow, upright stance at the plate with a high back elbow. Pull approach at the plate, looks to hit the ball out front. Stays compact with swing actions. Will benefit from additional strength and better balance at plate. Good student.
