Christopher Maze is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Warren, OH who attends Howland HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Slow paced on line delivery, big leg kick, tends to drift through balance point, high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well. Fastball to 82 mph, mostly straight, has trouble getting fastball to glove side of the plate at times. Curveball gets occasional 2-plane break. Right handed hitter, has some hitting tools, open stance, short simple swing mechanics, flashes the ability to pull and lift the ball, tension free swing, solid line drive contact. Has the tools to keep improving, good athlete.
