Lenny James Ortiz is a 2014 1B/OF with a 5-10 210 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Clinton Senior HS. Medium frame with a thick athletic build. Has current strength. Hits from the left side of the plate. He has an open balanced set up and looks to do damage. His swing is extremely fluid and he showed very good bat speed with lift. Possesses strong, quick wrists and an aggressive approach. Has the ability to square up the baseball and consistently made very loud contact during the games. On the IF he has soft hands and very good footwork. Moves well around the bag. Was named to the top prospect list. Interesting follow. Good student.
