Jesse Bogacz is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Jamaica, NY who attends Trinity HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Long arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, good lower half use in his delivery, sound overall mechanics. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, good arm side running action at times, best when pitching down in the zone, gets his fastball in on hitters hands well. Outstanding change up with ideal arm speed and good sink, very deceptive pitch. Solid curveball with nice two-plane 1/7 shape, good spin and throws curveball for consistent strikes. Has good pitchability and three solid pitches to come at hitters with. Good student, signed with Kenyon.
