Cameron Williams is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove HS. Williams has a thicker frame with good strength. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. His arm works and he has arm speed. Williams gets closed at balance point and has an online delivery. He gets some down plane on his fastball and he has projectable velocity. Williams throws an 11/5 curveball with solid shape and spin to it. He also throws a change up with run and sink on it. Interesting young follow on the mound. Defensively he has solid footwork with nice hands at 1B. At the plate, he starts with an upright stance and has a pull approach. He has some bat speed and some strength in his swing. Very good student, named to Top Prospect Team.
