John Linehan is a 2012 RHP/MIF, 3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Derwood, MD who attends Heights School. Long, projectable frame with lots of room to fill. On the mound, throws strikes easily from over the top slot. Has some deception and gets some swings and misses. Good idea on the mound with command of two pitches. Curveball is a big 11/5 breaker at 67. The pitch has solid break and he throws it for strikes. Infield tools profile at 3B. Good release and smooth arm action. At the plate, short to the ball with a middle of the field approach. Ball comes off well. Has some feel at the plate. Good student.
