Addison Porter is a 2012 OF/SS/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Texarkana, TX who attends Texas HS. Nice long and lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, upright stance, long aggressive swing, tends to open front side early,uppercut swing plane, has some lift, looks to pull, ball carries well off the barrel. Tools to play both corner outfield and third base, very good arm strength with carry, long loose arm, actions best suited for third base, still raw on OF routes. Highest ceiling might be on the mound, throws easy, arm works well, tends to open early just like hitting and hinders command, fastball topped at 85 mph with more there, some spin to 71 mph curveball. Tools to develop at the next level with patience. Good student.
