Shawn Molvie is a 2007 C/OF from Haverford HS in Havertown, PA with a 6'1", 205 lb. frame. Shawn is a strong kid that has a lot of present strength in his game. He hits from an open stance and uses his hands well at the plate. Shawn pocesses good raw power potential at the plate, but his swing can get long at times. When Shawn shortens his swing plane down he will drive the ball hard on a more consistent basis. Behind the plate, Shawn showed a very strong arm. With improved footwork Shawn could easily see his pop time near 2.00. Shawn has a game that relies on power and could be a solid recruit for many smaller colleges.

Shawn Molvie is a 2007 C/3B/OF from Haverford HS in Havertown, PA, with a 6'1", 208 lb. frame. Shawn has a strong body that produced some of the best power powential in the showcase. At the plate Shawn has a short bat path with very strong hands that produced outstanding raw power. He is still raw in swing mechanics, but potential is very high for Shawn. Behind the plate Shawn shows good arm strength with a solid release. Shawn shows the tools needed to become highest level college prospect, and he should only improve his skills with more work.

Shawn Molvie is a 2007 catcher/third baseman from Havertown, PA with a thick body that shows good strength at 6-1, 210 lbs. Defensively, he shows very good arm strength at 77 mph with a 2.04 pop time. He has good blocking skills and moves well behind the plate with good feet. He hits from a balanced stance with high hands and a nice finish. He has a long swing plane and he drives through the ball nicely. He has a projectable catchers frame and he will be a top level prospect as he matures. He is a good catching prospect to follow for 2007.

Shawn Molvie is a 2007 catcher/third baseman from Havertown, Pennsylvania, with a thick and strong build at 6'1", 218 pounds. He hits from a wide stance with a short stride and a slight weight shift into contact. He has a line drive swing plane with a high one handed finish. He showed good bat speed with a contact style approach. He is a dead pull hitter with the potential to hit for power. He ran a 4.60 home to first. Defensively, he has a very strong arm at 79 mph with a smooth transfer and a quick release. He has soft hands and he showed good blocking skills. He popped a 2.03 and he has the arm strength to bring that down with improved footwork. He has solid defensive skills, and he is a top level prospect for 2007.
