David McKay is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Viera HS. Strong athletic build, fairly physically mature. Tall delivery, long extended arm action, shows ball in back, extended 3/4's arm slot, has good arm speed and looseness. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight, slurve type breaking ball with 11/5 shape, tends to slow arm on breaking ball and guide, might be best suited for a true slider in the future, some feel for change up with good arm side running action, throws strikes and competes. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida Atlantic.
