Max Bazin is a 2015 C/UT/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends South Mecklenburg HS. Bazin has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He has a short quick arm action from behind the plate with some arm strength. Bazin has quick feet with solid catch and throw tools. He makes accurate throws and has some receiving skills. In the outfield he has developing actions with developing footwork. At the plate, Bazin starts with an open stance and has a short swing path to the baseball. He has quick hands to the baseball and swings on a line drive path. Bazin swings off his front side and squared the ball up well in BP. He has some bat speed and some hitting tools. Bazin pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action with some arm speed. He pitches downhill well and has good rhythm to his delivery. There's more velocity in there with improved lower half mechanics. He throws an 11/5 curveball with nice shape to it and throws a change up with run on hit. Excellent student, named to Top Prospect Team.

Max Bazin is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends South Mecklenburg HS. Medium, slender frame with lots of projection. Shows athleticism receiving while behind plate. Quick transfer and release. Gains ground with feet, forward body momentum. Feet are quick. Pops times project well. Solid actions on the infield. Feet showed quickness, good balance, arm works with accuracy. Switch hitter at plate. Right side, short swing with line drive swing plane. Left side, similar mechanics with rotational swing and contact skills. Over the top arm action on mound. Balanced, smooth delivery. Good fastball command and arm side run. Good feel for 11/5 curveball. Very good student.
