Jacob Stokes is a 2012 OF/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair HS. Medium build, some strength, young look. 7.08 runner, solid arm strength with good carry, fields through the ball well, can improve footwork. Also catches, too narrow a base slows feet, over the top release, good raw arm strength, can improve quickly with instruction, 2.11 best pop time. Right handed hitter, limited load/stride, some hand quickness, patient hitter with good pitch recognition, stays inside the ball, line drive approach, all fields. Good student.
